Sacramento Valley Spark—An Opportunity for Burners to Collaborate, Communicate, and Create!
(previously known as Sacramento Burner Ball)

SHARE YOUR PASSION AT SACRAMENTO VALLEY SPARK!

  • Are you already hard at work on a fantabulous project for Burning Man 2012?
  • Do you have the inside track on getting a mutant vehicle though the DMV?
  • Can you share tips and tricks on registering a theme camp?
  • Have you worked with the Black Rock Arts Foundation and art grants?
  • Do you just want to connect with other Burners and find out who’s doing what?

Come Join Us! After the recent Sacramento Valley Decompression—Burn the River, here’s your next opportunity for radical participation in Sacramento’s Burner community. Sacramento Valley Spark is about to hit an underground, burneresque space near you. Brought to you by the Sacramento Burning Man Orgers Association (SACBMOA), this event is intended to spark greater inclusiveness, activities, and sustainability of our community.

Be Heard! If you’re itching to climb up on Sacramento’s soapbox and have your say, here’s your chance—tell us at Sacramento Valley Spark! (Soap, bubbles, and minimal amplification provided…) What do YOU think Sacramento’s Burner community should be like? Come share your thoughts and ideas about the Sacramento Valley, Burning Man, and the future. Got something to share with Larry or the BRC LLC? Send your deepest thoughts through the Video Confessional Booth. Want to brainstorm how to build a better Burner community? Come hear our guest speakers and discuss your ideas about community development with other Burners. Have you heard that the Burning Man organization is soliciting new Sacramento regional contacts? Find out about what this means to you. Just need to let it all out? Come paint on our wall!

Share Your Talent! Opportunities are available to teach or take a class:

  • Are you the best hula hooper in the whole Sacramento Valley?
  • Can you show us how to make poofers or flame effects without burning the building down?
  • How do you build one of those crazy hexayurt things?
  • You-TuTu, I-TuTu, We-TuTu? Haven’t YOU always wanted to make a tutu?
  • E-mail participate [at domain] sacburners [dot] org to get involved.
